sprayable instant spider web an addition to the prop box
Although I did not invent the recipe this instant spider web will be an exhalent addition to my prop box. it is made from 2:1 Acetone to Fabri-tac.
Ingredients
10ml Fabri-tac
20ml Acetone
Fabri-tac is a type of fabric glue and acetone is flammable, so it is not particularly safe to use indoors or to spray near open flames. once dry the spider silk fibers are no longer combustible but the plastic thread melts and drips when burnt. definitely not something you want on your skin.
Although this recipe is not biodegradable I am working on a much safe with a wider range of applications.
I’m working with substances like Methylcellulose and gelatin hoping to achieve the same effect.
