Dragon Eye Sketchbook
I love how this dragon eye sketchbook turned out. Because the books I make are meant to be used this book is meant to change a small amount as time goes on . the small scales ate made out of a cut up copper sheet that is painted red and covered in a thin layer of resin so it doesn’t rub off to quickly. when It does rub down the warn away areas should become a bright brilliant copper color.
the spine combines the exposed spine of a Coptic bound book as well as the complex beautiful design of the French linking stitch. this is one of my favorite types of binding.
